| Requirements for Membership | ||
| *Any person of Irish lineage who is a full time paid professional member of a law enforcement unit or fire department is eligible for membership. | ||
| *Any retired law enforcement officer of firefighter may also apply for membership. | ||
| *Any elective Executive Officer of an Emerald Society whose jurisdiction is outside the confines of the Delaware Valley Area (Mercer, Burlington, Camden, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties) may apply for membership as well. | ||
